With & Without

'I live in a city that is billboards. Billboards and graffiti.'

Finally catching up a bit of news this evening, and discovered that
Mr. Dennis Hopper died yesterday.

I lay on the sandy shore,
with my nose in a book.
I dig my toes into the finely divided rock while gazing upon the deep blue.

Suddenly, a wave crashes ashore and rushes through my little camp.
My belongings instantly swept up by the undertow.

The tide I knew to expect was here.
The shore and the sun rapidly disappear.

You wait and wait - sometimes in astonishment of the allotted time.
Just like that, it all comes rushing in at once and you find yourself
pushing Time.

All By My Lonesome

The house has left for a camping trip.
The halls have grown longer;
rooms dreary and dark.

This discomfort of being solely alone is startling,
considering my upcoming move.

got my hands on a guitar this, it feels good.
due to the neck (mysteriously) snapping off my old acoustic,
i've been in dire need ever since.

Day Off

This Afternoon included:
- Tackling and sorting my boxes in the 'Fetish Dungeon'
(don't worry kids, it's a nickname for the Celler)

- Black Widow Apprehension.
- Sorting through box(s) in the sunshine, while sipping a mini-Corona.
- 4 Hours spent prepping for the Move
- 2 1/2 hours of that, looking through old photographs

Morning Oddity

As I've mentioned in previous posts...
Every morning, immediately after waking, I start singing a single song that my dreamy subconscious left behind. (or humming)
*Every single morning* The spectrum is endless.
This morning it was:

Yours Truly.

Mental Note

'Let not your mind run on what you lack as much as on what you have already.'

What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made?
What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for?
The answer to each is the same.
Only Love.'

I See Me

(by Sarah Hermans)

'Just be your own person. All you need to do is figure yourself out.
Pull focus on that hazy homemade shit. Sharpen those dreams up.
You know, the ones that feed your soul when nobody’s looking.
Chase after ‘em for a little while,
even if there’s no hope of supporting yourself financially in the process.'

My Genetic Code is laced with nomadic ways.
I feel most content - On the road, On the Rail, Up in the Air.
I'll never be able to quiet this want to
explore the World, for the rest of my days.

I was driving home today after dropping off my deposit (gulp)
and didn't want to stop, I didn't want a destination, I just wanted to keep on going. See where that road takes me.
But I'm tied down now.
Tied to a Lease. Tied to a Job. Tied to Bills.

It's Life, we have to have these things...right?

On to the Next

The kitchen, living room, office, and bedroom may all be in one room, but
when you're desperate you can't be picky.
you take what you can get (afford) ...

it's a roof over my head and it's all mine!
