pack it down

On the subject of timing, I've been suffering from another failed relationship.
I fought for the unattainable.
I'll spare you the sad details
(of our nearing 2 year relationship)
I can't wait for the day when this stops hurting.
I can't wait for the day when this doesn't happen anymore.
I will find that day.
Well, it's Friday already.
My departure for San Sebastian is this Sunday.
It's all becoming quite real now that I'm packing.
Though, timing can be a damn shame...
for I picked up a nasty cold this week.
(all my energy has been geared towards expelling this bugger)
These past two months in Chicago have been fortuitous.
From past to present, so much has been brought to Light.
It has been an intense growth process - but all so good.
cleared away the bad - ready for the good.
I can't wait to begin this Job/Adventure in Spain.

'We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingled and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.' Anais Nin

feeling depreciated, angry and drained from a night of hurtful words.
copious amounts of tea and a long walk has helped brighten my eyes,
though still haunted by the shadows which lain behind.
I'm reminded that I need more people in my life who nurture
rather than enable.
'There is a big difference between being helped
and being treated as though we are helpless.'
'There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening, that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique.
And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium
and will be lost.' -M. Graham
Tomorrow, all will clear.
