Time Away

I often sit and wish that I could be a kite up in the sky,
and ride upon the breeze
and go whichever way I chanced to blow.

Those Last Few Steps You Take Alone

Everything you want also wants you.
But you have to take action to get it. '

In A Short Span Of Time

all's dissolving into cinders,
billowing over what remains.
nearing a complete disappearance,
by seeking the apex of self.
this journey begins august 2nd,
a time to be carried off to the windy city.
where i'll nurture my soul and regain self.
the next leg will begin on september 25.
i will hop the atlantic and transfer till I reach my final destination of
San Sebastian, Spain.
it's there i will stay and work as an au pair till december 20th.

i don't know where my life is headed,
but i fully believe that these drastic string of events
have some how been cosmically induced.

let the adventure begin...

The Pendulum Will Swing.

The Reflection of You

before my eyes, it was you;
and you, and me, and you.
remember those very moments?
us then,
lost not in the past, nor future.

now, frozen eyes
from a living past.

Note To Self

(jaques henri lartigue)

hard times ain't gonna rule my mind no more
you must dance your way through life

Morning Oddity

As I've mentioned in previous posts...
Every morning, immediately after waking, I start singing a single song that my dreamy subconscious left behind. (or humming)
*Every single morning* The spectrum is endless.
This morning it was :

gazing up at the groin vaults,
admiring the embellished arris of the playhouse.

And here, the beautiful historic landmark in Alhambra;
The Mission of San Gabriel - circa 1800.
(mind you, it's been restored/rebuilt several times due to many sever earthquakes)

Just to Imagine

Okay, so I'm sure you've had your No Reservations Fix this evening?
Yes, it feels good to have Tony back.

Then, I fell right into a new series
Dance the World.
given, the intro is awful and at times the host is a wee bit much
but come on,
I'm Hooked!
reason: multiple dreams of mine smooched into one big ball
of thrilling envy.
(along with several other Travel Channel shows!)

Nonetheless, it's worth a try?

Roam a Cold Highway

'What else should our lives be but a continual series of beginnings, of painful settings out into the unknown, pushing off from the edges of consciousness into the mystery of what we have not yet become, except in dreams that blow in from out there bearing the fragrance of islands we have not yet sighted in our waking hours, as in voyaging sometimes the first blossoming branches of our next landfall come bumping against the keel, even in the dark, whole days before the real land rises to meet us.' - David Malouf -

Lu On Canvas

Past to Present, We have the Stars.

'When we contemplate the whole globe as one great dewdrop, striped and dotted with continents and islands, flying through space with other stars all singing and shining together as one, the whole universe appears as an infinite storm of beauty.' - John Muir

This very idea pretty much encapsulates my focal point in meditation.
