Well, I finally took a gander at my brothers newly rented downtown studio...
And it's a damn fine one.

Ain't it Bizarre

So, I was driving home from Trader Joes and saw this....
that is me, on a bus.
(also, on bus stops and the NBC commercial spot)
And to think, it all happened by fluke.

Night Air

I spend nearly all my time (out of work) alone;
This lifestyle induces the following:
- Hermit Syndrome
- Self Indulgence
- Simple Pleasures

Tonight, I'm enjoying the lot:
-Several Period Films
-Wine
- My window fan drawing in the mild air,
drenched with the pungent aroma Jasmin.

welcome, sweet Spring. welcome.

My Heart Wanders

'what would happen if one day you decided to follow your heart?'

When I grow the balls, I'll tell ya...

To Mar the Wonderful Grandeur

A trip, to a wonder of the world.
(a first, for me)
Afternoon Departure: March 5th from Los Angeles, CA.
Arrival: Late evening of the 5th Grand Canyon, AZ.
Holiday Inn Express Slumber.

Sunday, March 6th - 9:00am
Weather:
52, Crisp Air, Strong Winds, blanket of clouds, scattered snow underfoot.

With my first sight of that stunning grandeur of ancient rock,
my heart burst with wild flames of joy,
forever a kindle of awe and contentment.

The winds roared like the sound of crashing waves,
while we walked 12 miles of the southern rim.
Donkeys on Trails, Cactus and Trees, Moss on Rock, Crows and Hawks.
Dangling feet over the edge, my eyes continually adjusting perspective.
'She's' a shape shifter, with every step to every minute.
There's no doubt that this land harbors a distinctive energy....

I'll return, with time to hike down those canyon walls.

The Spark

It's about looking ahead...

Why do you paint?
For exactly the same reason I breathe.
That’s not an answer.
There isn’t any answer.
How long hasn’t there been any answer?
As long as I can remember.
And how long have you written?
As long as I can remember.
I mean poetry.
So do I.

(E. E. Cummings)
