Adventure

Ewing Galloway, Hikers in the Country Near New York City, from “The Pageant of America” Collection (NYPL) So I went camping in the Delaware Water Gap this weekend. And I hiked up a mountain wearing jean shorts, a flannel shirt, and a pair of Sauconys. But do I wish I had been wearing jodhpurs, knee high lace-up boots, and a hat with a feather in the brim instead? Well, YES.
