Who We Were

One of Pennsylvania’s largest and oldest trees, the John Goodway Sycamore in Linglestown, is measured by Harvey Ward and his grandson, Lester Aungst, in the late 1940s. The tree, about 300 years old, still exists. From Who We Were: A Snapshot History of America
