It took some time from slumber,
to adjust focus on the morning light.
dash of mental imagery:
the curtains hanging in my room are a dark sheer -
which allows me to view the outdoor horizon.
This morning was painted with western hues.
The crispest punch of blue sky, soft fall light,
rust red from the brick buildings,
and a vibrant cactus green from the Palm tree
sandwiched between two complexes.
These sights have me yearning for Fall.
Oh Glorious Fall, my favorite season.
We're still in for some bogged heat,
here in los angeles.
but then again summer is summer,
and we're all chasing these last few weeks.
