I am an artist in New Orleans at the New Orleans Arts Market in Palmer Park. Most of my assemblages, shrines and fetish boxes are about Storyville and its women, the New Orleans Cemeteries and other historic New Orleans places. I use Bellocq's photographs in my work. I thought you might like to see my work, a sample is on my website and blog. www.juliettehareoconnor.com and www.storyvilleneworleans.blogspot.com. I love Bellocq's photographs.
thanks for posting something about him.
