Morning Oddity
As I've mentioned in previous posts...
Every morning, immediately after waking, I start singing a single song that my dreamy subconscious left behind. *Every single morning* The spectrum is endless.
This morning it was:
Devendra Banhart
Chinese Children

Fear.
I woke up around 4:30a.m. from wild dreams and a dire thirst. Cheap wine still lingered in my mouth.
When venturing down stairs in the wee hours of the morn' to fetch a cup of water, I always feel like I'm 5 again.
The twinge of Fear floods in.

The twinge of Fear floods in.
Dark shadows, odd noises, I impatiently filled my cup and scurried up the stairs as if being chased. By What? Nothing. My own imagination. I don't feel safe till I'm back in my bed.
This sensation only happens when I'm staying or living in Houses with floors. There's just something about Staircases...
Guess you can't take the child out of an adult.

I haven't lived with roommates or in a house/apartment with stairs for a handful of years. I'm used to living in a Little Box Studio, finding much comfort living alone with rooms reachable by an arms length.
Oh silly confessions!

One of my favorite photographers:
To all you childless men out there, please tell me if this doesn't make you want to be a father someday...

To my dear friends,
A note to the Photographer:
To my brother, your talent makes me sick. Love, your sister.
Turner, you always convey 'Je ne sais pas ce que'
It's beautifully present and real...we miss you already.

Billy, your "terrorific" beard is looking mighty fine!

Confession
When I discuss this "dream" of mine with friends or family the first response is Why? Then followed by Laughter.
I would be the owner that waitresses, who mainly just stands behind the counter continually topping off coffee cups, passing out slices of pie, and chatting it up with the local company.I would have an extensive vocabulary in Diner Lingo and possess a smile and laugh that is contagiously wonderful.
My retort to this general response is sincere and filled with passion!
I've always wanted to run a small Diner somewhere in Wild-West America, hugged up next to a Railroad.
My dream would be completely fulfilled if I lived in the PAST.
1930-50?
( I'll assume this strong connection and desire is from a my past life)

Sounds absolutely perfect.

Friday Night: The "Specialty" Nuart Theater
Our whole gang went to a Midnight showing of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Now I know why I never bothered seeing it again after the age of 8. Outrageous.
Saturday Day/Night:
Bowled at Shatto 39 Lanes in K-Town (Korea Town)
8 friends. 3 girls and 5 boys.

The second game I rolled a 143, beating everyone else... I had a "victory is mine" moment considering I usually never bowl over a 70!
