'Los Angeles seemed to run on “hustle” mode. Everyone was great at hustling. The key to hustling lies in having something to sell, usually a talent or ability. But, being 21,
I was unsure of my abilities. And rightly so. I wasn’t very good at anything and therefore was not able to convince anyone that they needed me' -Molly

I encountered this problem on set yesterday.
As someone who is almost three in twenty, I need to get my story straight.

Nostalgia

<span class=

We once had a beautifully mature Purple Lily Magnolia.
As a child, this tree would signify the span of time.
I remember the blooming and shedding process being as rapid to a time-lapse.

It's sightly shape springs vivid sensory memories...
The crunch of fallen furry buds under my feet.
Fresh spring rains.
Slippery fallen peddles, leaving stains on the walkway.
Her entwined bark, and one failing limb that my father tied up.

She's holding her breath in the Mid-west,
Ready to give the most magnificently brief show.

We'll always wait patiently, dear Magnolia.
you hold a prominent place in my past.

my-ear-trumpet:sokkinskip: Julia Margaret Cameron photography. I’ve been pretty interested in the Pre-Raphaelites and Art Noveau lately. Although I feel that Art Noveau often has just a little something missing and that Alphonse Mucha was by far the best artist of that movement.

I'm a morning person.
Well, rather a homebody morning person.
I'll wake to watch the sunrise,
make coffee, write, read the news, toss a few emails, eat some breakie; easily before 9am.
Productivity drastically changes when I'm given a
'time constrain'
I fumble around, drag my feet, push the clock.
It's crippling.
Even if I allot myself plenty of time before heading to work,
I still get anxious and bitter about
these 'Time Constraints'

I have a good feeling that this will completely change the day I truly enjoy my work.

Instant Stranger Crush

Went to the Home Depot with my Brother this morning and while I was perusing
the Cactus' I encountered a fine looking man.
An Instant Crush.
I pointed him out to my brother...
his response:
"you would go after a hippie"

A gal can fantasize right?
Yes.

Home

The Sun gives day, roosters are calling...
Shuffling into the kitchen, I open the window and put on the coffee.
The morning becomes eclectic with
Spanish murmurs, a crackling brew, fluttering plumes, and potent Jasmine.
Home.

Like a Haze

First photograph of a human, ‘Boulevard du Temple’, Paris, 1838. Boulevard du Temple, taken by Louis Daguerre in late 1838, was the first-ever photograph of a person. It is an image of a busy street, but because exposure time was over ten minutes, the city traffic was moving too much to appear. The exception is a man in the bottom left corner, who stood still getting his boots polished long enough to show up in the picture. (via Smashing Lists)
